In a study in 2005, Dr. E.Thom conducted a trial on Svetol® (in SlimLike™) in Norway.
The study was a randomised, double-blind placebo controlled study on 50 people using Svetol® (in
SlimLike™) combined with a calorie controlled diet over a period of 60 days. There were two separate
groups, 30 subjects using Svetol® (in SlimLike™) and 20 subjects using a placebo.
The subject group using Svetol® (in SlimLike™) lost an average of 5kg (11lbs),
more than twice the amount of weight compared to those on the same diet but without Svetol® (in
SlimLike™). The subject group without Svetol® (in SlimLike™) lost only an average
of 2.4kg (5.2lbs).

In a study in 2006 by O.Dellalibera, B.Lemaire, S. Lafay, recently published in the scientific journal
Phytotherapie, was yet another randomised placebo study on 50 people over a period of 60 days. The study took
place in the Antonio e Margherita Hospital in Tortona, Italy. These studies were carried out on an age group between
19 and 75. The study resulted in Svetol® (in SlimLike™) having a slimming action on those that were
supplemented with Svetol® (in SlimLike™) for a period of 60 days, compared to those that were
supplemented with a placebo. The subject group that took Svetol® (in SlimLike™) lost an average of 4.9kg.
The subject group that took a placebo lost only 2.45kg. The results show that Svetol® (in SlimLike™)
can assist calorie controlled dieting, it significantly reduced the BMI and increased the breakdown of the reserve
stored Fat.
